8) Web Hosting Services The web hosting service provides web-server hosting and Internet connectivity for both internal (intranet) and external (Internet) use. Cost Considerations The cost components of this service include equipment, software, staff and connectivity costs. Initial equipment and software costs have been provided by the implementation project. Recurring staff and connectivity costs are supported by the UN Network and Internet Access services, respectively. Therefore, there are no envisaged recurring costs for this service for standard use. Use of web hosting facilities over and beyond the standard will incur additional costs, calculated on a case to case basis.
