Employment Wage Statistics (2013)Wages for Northeast Georgia fall below wages statewide: Table 2
Unemployment RateNortheast Georgia’s unemployment rate has been steadily declining since the high of near 10% during the recession of 2008/2009. It is currently declining at a faster rate than the both state of Georgia and the United States over the past two years (2012 and 2013), and the unemployment rate for 2013 was below both national and state averages. Table 3
