3831 GB/AUST WW1 BRITISH LEWIS GUN SPARES AND TOOL BAG. A rare pre 1918 manufactured example of heavy canvas material with leather base panel and two leather straps and buckles. The interior is fitted with pockets. Complete with original canvas sling with buckle and eyelets for adjustment. Heavy service wear and much soiling. In 1918 Army instructions gave notice of the inclusion of two additional interior pockets to the front panel of the bag. This example does not include these additional pockets. Grade III+ $650
