Patient in sidelying, therapist stands facing the patient. The palpating finger of the caudal hand is placed in the interspinous space. The remaining part of the hand is placed to provide stabilization caudal to the segment. The cranial forearm and hand are placed under the head and cervical spine. The cranial arm moves the head and cervical spine in A-P direction. Assess joint play in tested cervical segment.
