WILLIAM GLYNN – INDUCTED 1976
A THREE SPORT STAR IN FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL. PLAYED PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL FOR FOURTEEN SEASONS WITH VARIOUS MAJOR AND MINOR LEAGUE TEAMS, INCLUDING PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES, AND THREE YEARS WITH CLEVELAND INDIANS AND 1954 WORLD SERIES. ON JULY 4, 1954, HIT THREE HOME RUNS IN GAME AGAINST DETROIT.

DON KOVACH – INDUCTED 1978
COMPILED NINE LETTERS AT FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL IN FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL. EARNED ALL STATE/ALL COUNTY FOOTBALL STATUS AND NAMED TO THE ALL COUNTY BASKETBALL TEAM. AN OUTSTANDING UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA LINEMAN FROM 1953-1957. ASSOCIATED PRESS SOPHOMORE LINEMAN OF THE NATION NOMINEE IN 1954 WHEN HE WAS ALSO NOMINATED TO THE ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE ALL AMERICAN CHECKLIST.

DONALD ROSS – INDUCTED 1993
GRADUATED SUSSEX HIGH SCHOOL IN 1945. EARNED 4 VARSITY LETTERS IN SOCCER AND 4 VARSITY LETTERS IN BASEBALL. ENTERED THE ARMY IN 1945 AND PLAYED BASEBALL ON THE ARMY TEAM ON GUAM AT MITCHELL FIELD. HE PLAYED ON THE SEMI-PRO SUSSEX FARMERS FROM 1947-1953.
PLAYED IN THE NORTH JERSEY BASEBALL LEAGUE FOR THE SUSSEX CARDINALS FROM 1954 – 1963 AND WAS PLAYER MANAGER FROM 1957-1963. HIS TEAMS WERE UNDEFEATED IN 1959, 1961, 1962 AND 1963.
HE WAS ELECTED MANAGER OF THE YEAR IN 1957.
HE THEN COACHED SUSSEX BABE RUTH LEAGUE FOR 17 YEARS. HE WAS FOUNDER OF THE HIGH POINT MIDGET FOOTBALL HAWKS AND SERVED AS PRESIDENT FOR 13 YEARS.
HE WAS FOUNDER OF THE WANTAGE GIRLS SOFTBALL TEAM AND WAS HONORED FOR HIS SERVICE WITH THE WANTAGE TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD.

JEFFREY HULL – INDUCTED 2002
GRADUATED FROM MORRIS HILLS HIGH SCHOOL IN 1964 WHERE HE EARNED VARSITY LETTERS IN FOOTBALL (3 YEARS) AND WRESTLING (4 YEARS). GRADUATED FROM BLOOMSBURG COLLEGE IN 1968 AFTER RECEIVING VARSITY LETTERS ALSO IN FOOTBALL & WRESTLING. GAINED GREAT RECOGNITION AND DISTINCTION AS HEAD WRESTLING COACH AT HIGH PINT REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL FROM 1971, 1993 & 1997-1998. HIS TEAMS PRODUCED THE MOST WRESTLING VICTORIES IN SUSSEX COUNTY HISTORY (285 108 3) RECORDS INCLUDE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1974 & 1975 (SKYLINE CONFERENCE); 1976, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1990, & 1997 (SCIL). THERE WERE SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SECTION 1 FOR 1984 (GROUP 2); 1985 THROUGH 1991; 1993; 1996 (GROUP 3). TEAMS WERE STATE RUNNER-UP IN 1984 (GROUP 2) AND 1988; 1989; 1990 (GROUP 3). THEY WERE RATED BY N.J. COACHES POLL IN THE TOP 10 TEAMS IN N.J. 5 TIMES. 2ND IN 1990 & 3RD IN 1989. PERSONAL AWARDS INCLUDE: NJSIAA HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE (1994); MD HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE (1994); ALL AREA WRESTLING COACH (7 YEARS); REGION COACH (3 YEARS); DISTRICT COACH OF YEAR (6 YEARS); ALL AREA CROSS COUNTRY COACH (1 YEAR). DESIGNED AND ORGANIZED SUSSEX-WANTAGE WRESTLING PROGRAM; COORDINATED USA FEDERATION TOURNAMENTS AND PROPOSED REORGANIZATION OF STATE SECTIONAL WRESTLING PROGRAM THROUGH NJSIAA.

ERINE GROVE CALA – INDUCTED 2002
A 1990 GRADUATE OF HOPATCONG HIGH SCHOOL, SHE PARTICIPATED AT THE VARSITY LEVEL FOR 4 YEARS IN SOFTBALL AND BASKETBALL. IN SOFTBALL, SHE WAS ALL-AREA; ALL LEAGUE; AND MOST VALUABLE PLAYER IN 1988, 1989 & 1990. IN 1989, SHE WAS SELECTED FOR ALL WEST JERSEY 1ST TEAM AND IN 1990, SHE WAS SELECTED ALL STATE 2ND TEAM. IN 2000, SHE WAS AN INDUCTEE INTO THE HOPATCONG HIGH SCHOOL “WALL OF FAME”. AS A SOFTBALL PITCHER FOR THE TRENTON STATE COLLEGE LIONS FROM 1991-1994 SHE RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING RECOGNITION: MEMBER OF NCAA NATIONAL SOFTBALL CHAMPIONS 1992, 1994; NJAC PITCHER OF THE YEAR 1993; NCAA ALL-AMERICAN 1993, NCAA ALL REGION 1994; NJAC PITCHER OF THE YEAR 1993; NCAA ALL-AMERICAN 1993; NCAA ALL REGION 1994; NCAA NEW JERSEY WOMAN OF THE YEAR 1994, NJAC WOMAN ATHLETE OF THE YEAR 1994. HER CAREER PITCHING RECORD IS 61-5 FOR A NCAA RECORD WINNING PCT. OF 92.4%. HER COLLEGE PITCHING CAREER ERA WAS A REMARKABLE 1.42.

GRADUATED FROM FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL IN JUNE 1969. WHILE THERE HE EARNED 10 VARSITY LETTERS. 3 IN FOOTBALL, 4 IN WRESTLING AND 3 IN BASEBALL. IN BASEBALL 1968 WAS NAMED 1ST TEAM ALL COUNTY, 1ST TEAM ALL SKYLINE CONFERENCE AND 1ST TEAM GROUP II ALL STATE. HAD A CONFERENCE BATTING AVERAGE OF .435 AND OVERALL BATTING AVERAGE OF .424 AND WAS NAMED M.V.P. OF THE FRANKLIN H.S. BASEBALL TEAM. IN 1969 GARY WAS NAMED CAPTAIN. IN WRESTLING 1966 PLACED 3RD IN DISTRICTS AT 123 LBS. IN 1967 PLACED 2ND IN KINNELON TOURNAMENT AT 167 LBS. IN 1968 PLACED 1ST IN KINNELON TOURNAMENT AT 167 LBS., WAS NAMED CAPTAIN AND M.V.P. OF THE FRANKLIN H.S. TEAM, WITH A 19-2 RECORD. IN FOOTBALL HE WAS NAMED CO-CAPTAIN IN 1968, ALSO IN 1968 WAS NAMED TO THE ALL-COUNTY TEAM AND GROUP I ALL STATE. IN 1968 N.J. HERALD SPORTSMAN OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER AND IN 1969 WAS FRANKLIN H.S. ATHLETE OF THE YEAR. GRADUATED WITH HONORS FROM DREXEL UNIVERSITY IN JUNE 1973. HE RECEIVED 3 VARSITY LETTERS IN FOOTBALL 1970-72. IN 1972 WAS NAMED MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER AND IN 1971 NAMED ECAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK. HE WAS THE TRIPLE CROWN WINNER FOR THE SUSSEX COUNTY AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL LG. IN 1970. PLAYED BASEBALL FOR SPARTA A.A. IN 1971 AND THE BOONTON BEARS IN 1973.
