Dear Parents,

FA 2 starts from Monday students will stay at school after exam as usual. Friday (July 10) will be a half day for all students and buses will run at 12:00 noon. Students can bring light snacks and have that before 12:00 noon and the classroom should be clean before they leave the class.
This week few classes could not go on field trip. New schedule is given below.

  • Tokyo UKG B & D will go to Ueno Zoo on & 7 July Tuesday

  • UKG C & LKG will go to Ueno Zoo on 8th July Wednesday.

In case of rain venue will change to Fire museum. So all must come in sports shirt and bring picnic lunch.

Cost 300 yen (inclusive of a cap)
Yokohama Grade 1 could not go on field trip due to bad weather. They will have it after summer vacation.
We request Tokyo 1st and 2nd grade parents to put lunch in a separate cloth bag which can be taken out of the knapsack and kept separately.
Four students will travel to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, to take part in the first ever International History Olympiad. These students will not only represent our school but also Japan in this inaugural event. We are the only school to represent Japan, so it is a very exciting and prestigious opportunity for our students to compete at the highest level of the History Bee and Bowl. Mr. Ted will also be the only coach to officially attend the event from outside of the US despite large numbers of students from around Asia, Canada and Europe attending.

The tournament consists of team and individual events in all areas of history over the week. Categories can be as rigorous as 150 questions on only the history of science and technology. The students will also get a chance to experience Colonial Williamsburg and take a tour of the college itself (as they will be staying on campus). Good luck to Atharva Kulkarni, Atharva Patil, Neel Date, and Aum Wagh.

Parents please note that elementary students are not permitted to ride the bicycle and come to the school. Please refer the new bicycle rules in the link given below:
Myself and School Principal will meet all Tokyo school parents for a open discussion tomorrow from 10 am to 12 noon.

PA members will also be there. Please do come and clear your doubts with us if you have any. Will try to get some teachers also if possible.
Parents are reminded to pay all dues of 1st term before FA 2 can be taken.
