In Western Australia, our rapid population growth, coupled with a transitioning economy is creating significant challenges for the State and our people.

As a proud Western Australian mutual organisation representing more than 800,000 members the RAC is committed to saving lives, and improving road and vehicle safety.

Will Golsby will outline the RAC’s advocacy agenda for the year ahead, and its strong focus on working with the community to highlight and address WA’s poor road safety record.

You will hear about the RAC’s policies and new initiatives, including the introduction and outcomes from the world’s first Attention Powered Car, road and vehicle safety, community education, and the campaigns and advocacy work planned, or already underway.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Will Golsby is the RAC’s General Manager Corporate Affairs. Working within the Advocacy and Member Benefits Team, he manages external and internal communications, external relations, sponsorship and community education. In addition, he is also the Editor-in-Chief of the RAC’s Horizons magazine.
Before joining the RAC he was employed as a Chief of Staff in the Victorian Government, and has also worked as a CEO and Company Secretary for a national peak agriculture industry body, based in Canberra. Previously he was also an Adviser to the Australian Government Minister for Trade, Transport and Regional Services, Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry.
Will is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
