These two exercises will help the teacher to assess students` understanding of the material.
3-After-reading activity
After reading the text, the teacher will check if students understood it by doing a summary. Students will work in groups of four and they will be given some words. They are supposed to retell the article using the words given and their own words. First, they will write down their notes and then they will read them aloud.
It is expected that they will be able to retell the text they have already read.
