ABOUT THIS SEMINAR:
MORNING SESSION

During this session, we will learn from our legal expert, Jacki Green, the ins and outs of the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (PPACA). Although there is a move to have this act repealed, it is still a law today and we must prepare to implement the areas of the wide reaching law. Ms. Green will be expounding on the many changes that will be implemented during this calendar year, 2011 as well as the years to come under the current law as we know this today.

AFTERNOON SESSION

During this session, we will learn from our healthcare provider expert, represented by a nationally known insurance provider, the ins and outs of healthcare coverage since the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (PPACA) has began. We will learn the areas to be concerned with in negotiating and implementing employee benefits for our employer groups. We will also learn the terminology and issues with current coverage as well as changes today.

Throughout the day, Cathy Hays, our healthcare broker expert will try to lend her expertise as well as translate the issues to common understanding in dealing with the Human Resource and Accounting professionals that are charged with overseeing the coverage for their employer groups.
