MULTI-USE LEARNING FACILITY (MLF) COORDINATOR, Ed Center Fort Stewart
Duties


  • Follow clearly detailed specific procedures to publish schedules for usage of facilities, track classroom/facility/equipment usage, and post schedule changes

  • Assist clients with scheduling and use of all MLF facilities, training aids, and equipment to ensure proper use by clients

  • Assist clients with locating military programs and courses of instruction, including military correspondence courses

  • Assist clients with retrieving information, including selecting online instructional learning tools and aids, appropriate instructional support items, and study materials

  • Provide basic care of MLF equipment, including multimedia equipment (security and operation)

  • Refer non-routine inquiries or requests for assistance to appropriate personnel IAW site SOP or similar directive

  • Provide basic care of automation/technology equipment

  • Input usage data into the Government-provided automated system

  • Provide access to classrooms and facilities during scheduled hours of operation and then ensure classrooms and facilities are locked and secure as well as track facility key usage

  • Monitor compliance to local policy related to classroom and building usage, sanitation, cleanliness and repairs (non-adherence to SOP and other issues will be reported to the Government on a daily basis).

  • Provide access to facilities during scheduled hours of operation and ensure building security. Assist with building security and ensure classrooms and facilities are locked and secure. Provide administrative assistance for key inventory/maintenance.

  • Inspection of classrooms and facilities daily; take corrective actions if necessary.

  • Prepare usage/utilization and other routine reports IAW site SOP, Army, DOD, and other regulatory guidance as required by the ESO.

  • Initiate work orders for repairs & submit to AEC Manager within 24 hours of noting deficiency. Work orders require signature of ESO. Service orders – call in or email

  • Monitor effectiveness of custodial service & building maintenance (weekly inspections) – Report discrepancies.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of ACES events, to include but not limited to the annual Education Fair and Graduation Ceremony, when required.

  • Move/rearrange materials, furniture, equipment, and computers, when required.

  • All other administrative duties as needed


Qualifications


  • Shall be able to read, write, speak, enunciate clearly, and fully comprehend the English language

  • The minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform these services/tasks include: customer service skills, knowledge of U.S. post-secondary education and soldier development programs. Also required is familiarity with the Army Publication System, the Enlisted Personnel Management System, the Army Extension Training System, and small unit military training as well as experience with or knowledge of the online Army Correspondence Course Program enrollment process (www.atsc.army.mil), the U.S. Army Publishing Agency (http://www.apd.army.mil), the Army Doctrine and Training Digital Library (http://www.adtdl.army.mil/), and demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs and web-based applications.

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience

  • A National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI) is required for this position
