Atlantic CollegeThe accommodation at the Atlantic College, where the A.P.C workshop is being held, comprises of approximately 11 rooms. Each room contains 4 Single beds. If you would like to be booked with friends or relatives, please send your applications forms and deposits together. Please could you list the other names your “groups” name on the section marked additional information. The Atlantic College will be providing bed linen, but not towels. Please state what you intend to bring ______________________________ Please note: Taking the course does not give you an automatic qualification regarding the Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Honours courses The courses that are provided on the course are designed to help you achieve the next level in your Stage Combat training. Should you have NO experience or they have taken less than three A.P.C syllabus courses or a Basic exam with another organisation (proof required), you will begin with the BASIC course. If you have completed the Basic exam or a Basic, the next course for is the Intermediate. Advanced can only be taken if you have taken and passed the Intermediate course. Regardless of personal experience these exam must be taken in this order. The one Weapon Honours is designed for people who have their advanced qualification. Please note that the weapons listed below are subject to change and if are signing up for this course, you will be informed of any changes made: Basic: Single sword, Unarmed & one additional weapon system Intermediate: Staff, unarmed & one additional weapon system Honours: Sabre and Unarmed (contained) Advanced: Unarmed (swimming pool) four & one additional weapon system Qualifications held in Stage Combat or combat Experience (fencing, martial arts etc) Please could you put down your certificate number if you taken A.P.C, SBFD, BADC or BSSC exams Certificate number ____________________________________________________________ Please tick which course you wish to enrol: Basic: Intermediate: Honours Advanced Film Course Course feesThe course runs from the Saturday 19th July to Saturday 26th July and costs £600 this includes ALL exam fees, tuition, evening workshops, use of gym, use of swimming pools, food and accommodation. AFTER EARLY BOOKING YOU MAY ONLY HAVE EITHER A2A DISCOUNT OR EQUITY NOT BOTH. *The “Easy to pay”The “pay-away-plan” is designed to make paying for the course a little less stressful. The initial deposit is £150 and then you can send us however many number of post dated cheques you want to cover the remaining costs. It is accepted that participants on the course will follow the rules set below: The rules of venue (Atlantic College) must be adhered to. Any participant with any personal injury, medication or personal condition MUST, before beginning the course, inform the one of the instructors. No participant will be allowed to take part in any of the week’s activities if they are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. They will be removed from the course and asked to leave. No refunds will be given. Equipment is provided. Should you wish to bring your own weapons you are welcome to do so but they must be checked with one of the instructors before the class begins. Please wear appropriate clothing for the sessions. No jeans, hard shoes or jewellery. Sports gear only. Every effort is made on security. Please do not bring valuables unless they are essential. Atlantic college, guest teacher, Teaching Assistants, Kevin McCurdy and Andrew Ashenden cannot and will not, be held responsible for items that are lost or missing. All information provided on the initial application form for the participant is accurate to that the time of application. Cardiff Workshop reserve the right to change the courses and content of courses being held should the need arise. Every effort is made to help you to pass the A.P.C exams. Taking the course does not entitle you to an automatic pass. The rules of the Atlantic College are to be followed at all times.
