MNPS Airspace – which itself then becomes a subdivision of RVSM Airspace. 4.1.3 In the case of approvals for IGA operations, the following points are emphasised a) aircraft MNPS and RVSM approvals constitute a package covering equipment standards, installation, maintenance procedures and crew training b) States aviation authorities should consider limiting the validity period of approvals and c) States aviation authorities should maintain detailed records of all NAT MNPS and RVSM approvals. 4.1.4 There are times when MNPS and/or RVSM approval documentation may need to be shown to suitably authorised persons. e.g. during a ramp inspection or on similar occasions.
