  1. Did you know that Tim Gallagher is featured on the cover of New Horizons; the national FFA magazine?

  2. Did you know that the NHS National Honor Society participated in the Bowl-for-Kids-Sake event at Shore Lanes? The Honor Society members raised $665 for the charity event.

  3. Did you know that Qawi Carmack was honored as the Neptune HS recipient of the Caring Award sponsored by the Monmouth County Directors of Guidance Association?

  4. Did you know that the Neptune HS Science League team participated in the recent Shore Conference Science League competition? Wahneta Berry, Nicholas Lore-Edwards, Marissa Knee, Lindsey Sanclementi, Analiese Grissman, and Cynthia Tyrrell competed in the Biology exam. Sasha Murphy, Jamie Ferguson, Sean Trinh, Victoria Alaniz, and Zachary Krause competed in the Chemistry exam. Mary Swindler, Amanda Jegou, Asia Wildeman, and Casey Wilson competed in the Physics exam. Kim Galvez competed in the Environmental Science exam.

  5. Did you know that Nicole Susino and Natalie Shepard were selected by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 266 to attend Girls State from June 22-27th at Georgian Court University.

  6. Did you know that Sydney McPherson was accepted to the College of Saint Elizabeth?

  7. Did you know that Kavon Freeman was accepted to the University of Bridgeport and was awarded the UB Scholarship in the amount of $44,000? He was also accepted to William Paterson University. Kavon was also accepted to St. Peter’s University and was awarded the Dean’s Academic Scholarship totaling $72,000.

  8. Did you know that Paige Cooper was accepted to Chestnut Hill College? She was awarded the Chestnut Hill Scholarship in the amount of $13,500. This scholarship will be applied in Paige’s first year and is renewable for up to three additional years of consecutive, full-time study, in the School of Undergraduate Studies at Chestnut Hill College.

  9. Did you know that Ariana Wilson ran the 60H at Nationals in NY at the NYC Armory?

  10. Did you know Mariah and LeAnna Ross were invited to Oberlin College too participate in two field hockey Junior Days; East Stroudsburg on March 1st and Towson on April 4t. They were also invited to the Super 60 recruiting camp for the fall 2014 summer. 

  11. Did you know that Olivia Nash designed a painting that is displayed at the Jersey Shore Florist? Trevor McKeon, Sarah Stern, and Juliene Rutledge assisted in the project.

  12. Did you know that Ceyannah Hand is featured in the FFA magazine New Horizons; the national FFA magazine.

  13. Did you know that Jasmine Bass was accepted to Georgian Court University?

  14. Did you know that Natalie Shepard auditioned for the All-Shore Concert Band?

  15. Did you know that Giovana Zacatelco was accepted to Seton Hall University and received the University merit scholarship in the amount of $72,000? Giovana was also accepted to William Paterson University and received a scholarship in the amount of $8,000. Giovana was also accepted to New York Institute of Technology and was awarded the Steele Scholarship in the amount of $60,000.

  16. Did you know that Romello Union placed 3rd at 145 pounds in the Region 6 Wrestling Tournament on March 1st, qualifying him for the NJSIAA State Championships in Atlantic City.

  17. Did you know that Mary Swindler was accepted to Brigham Young University?

  18. Did you know Addie Kellet was accepted to Penn State University, George Mason University, and Monmouth University? Addie was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $14,000 per year.

  19. Did you know that Quinn Irons was accepted to Albright College?

  20. Did you know that Felicia Benjamin was accepted to Howard University, Seton Hall University, NJIT, and Hofstra University?

  21. Did you know that Bianca Puryear was accepted to New England College and was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $18,000 per year?

  22. Did you know that Romello Union was 1 of only 42 wrestlers from the entire Shore Conference to qualify for the N.J. State Wrestling tournament, placing him in the top 24 wrestlers in the state at 145 pounds? Romello is only the 4th Wrestler from Neptune to qualify for the tournament in over a decade.  Although Romello was eliminated in the 2nd round, we are still extremely proud of all of his accomplishments this season.

  23. Did you know that Robert Ready was accepted to Lycoming College and was awarded $33,680 a year in scholarships and grants?

  24. Did you know that Jimena Argenal was accepted to the campuses of Rutgers, the State University of NJ; at New Brunswick, Camden and Newark? Jimena was also accepted to Rider University and received a scholarship in the amount of $64,000. Jimena was also accepted to the University of New Haven's pre-medical program. Jimena was also accepted to The Richard Stockton University and the New Jersey City University.

  25. Did you know that Ja’Lisa Thompson was accepted to Long Island University’s (LIU) Pharmacy program?

  26. Did you know that Kenya Farley was accepted to FDU and Rider University?

  27. Did you know that Chynna Foster was accepted to East Carolina University and Towson University?

  28. Did you know that Alex Melendez was accepted to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia? Alex was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $48,000.

  29. Did you know that Jenna Karl was accepted to the University of Hartford and was awarded a scholarship in the amount of $9200?

  30. Did you know that the NHS Dance Team performed at the annual Monmouth County Teen Arts Festival at Brookdale CC?

  31. Did you know that over 25 NHS Art students displayed the art work at the annual Monmouth County Teen Arts Festival at BCC? Seven (7) pieces were selected by the judges as juried pieces.

  32. Did you know that Shelby Jackson was accepted to William Paterson University?

  33. Did you know that Theresa Shafto was accepted to Drew University? Theresa was awarded the Drew University Civics Scholarship in the amount of $20,000; the Drew University RISE Institute Science Scholarship in the amount of $20,000; and the Drew University Presidential Award for Academic Excellence in the amount of $96,000.

  34. Did you know that the NJROTC competed at the annual Rancocas Valley HS Drill Meet?
