Middlesex Water Company also has subsidiary companies known as Pinelands Water Company and Pinelands Wastewater Company which serve:
portions of Southampton Township, Burlington County
Company Specific Protocols: Government Agency contracts directly with the pre-qualified contractor with inspection and construction management by the utility.
Government Agency contractor will provide all materials for water main relocation work. Material must be preapproved by Middlesex Water prior to use.
Designer for Government Agency can prepare the Construction Plans and Specifications for the water main relocation work. Middlesex Water will provide review and design input.
Middlesex Water will provide an inspector for all water main relocation work.
DOT/Turnpike general contractor must select a contractor from the NJAW pre-approved contractor list for water main construction work.
DOT/Turnpike general contractor will provide all material for water main relocation work. Material must be preapproved by NJAW prior to use.
NJAW may elect to perform some work (hydrant relocation, service relocation, main relocations under 20 feet) with NJAW Internal Labor if scope is small.
NJAW requests that the DOT/Turnpike design consultant prepare design drawings for the water main relocation. NJAW will provide review and design input.
NJAW standard specifications are to be included with DOT/Turnpike project specifications and bid documents as an addendum.
NJAW will provide an inspector for all water main relocation.
