David Tyree

Height: 6-1

Weight: 197

Position: WR

College: Syracuse

Drafted: Pick 38 of the 6th round by N.Y. Giants
Analysis
Positives: Has a lean upper body with good linear speed...Shows enough quickness in and out of his breaks to gain separation...Maintains concentration on the ball going over the middle...Makes good body adjustments on the ball, using his size to work through the press coverage...Does an effective job angle blocking inside on safeties.
Negatives: Needs to extend his hands better to get a push off the defenders when trying to get upfield separation...Does not show much savvy, nor does he sell his routes...Has good height, but is only a marginal leaper...Does not show natural hands to pluck and snatch the ball (body catches)...Can not threaten the secondary after the catch due to his poor explosion turning up field...Best working on underneath routes, as he does not have the top end speed to elude in the open.
