North Atlantic Air Gun Competition

May 1 – 3, 2015



The Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Association is pleased to announce the holding of the 6th annual North Atlantic Air Gun Competition. The competition will be held May 1-3, 2015 in St. John’s at the Frank Zahn High Performance Marksmanship and CSCA Training Facility, School of Human Kinetics and Recreation, Memorial University. The match will be shot on Megalink electronic targets.



Accommodations and Travel

Competitors are responsible for their own bookings. More travel and accommodation information to follow shortly.


Registration

Match fees are $50.00 per individual per discipline and $20.00 per two person team. Registrations with fees post marked on or before April 3rd will receive 15% discount. Late registrations (post marked after April 24th) add 15%. No shows will be refunded less $15.00 per person. Please make cheques payable to the Newfoundland and Labrador Shooting Association.

Course of Fire

Preliminary registration is required by April 24st to allow for random squadding. Each shooter will fire two ISSF regulation relays per discipline and may shoot both pistol and rifle if they wish. Relays are 1 hour 30 minutes long and may contain both male and female, pistol or rifle competitors. The course of fire may change depending on number of competitors and number of useable lanes. Updates will be announced on the NLSA Facebook site, at the range and by email to registered competitors.


The events will run according, as much as possible, according to ISSF rules. On Sunday afternoon, we will conduct air pistol and air rifle finals for both men and women.

For the open practice scheduling is first come first serve with a 40 minute time limit. Equipment control is ongoing and can be done any time before competing.
