<888> 12/21/12 Friday 7:45 P.M..  On the third IBM ThinkCentre with Windows 8, I changed the two LCD monitors around on the connections to the video card.  I then connected the new HDMI cable, and with it, all three monitors including the Haier LCD TV are recognized.  One can use the switch box on the cable to the Haier LCD TV to switch between different inputs.  However, when the third IBM ThinkCentre is turned off, the switch box does not work properly, so one has to leave the new HDMI disconnected from the switch box, unless one wants to use the Haier LCD TV as a third monitor with the third IBM ThinkCentre turned on.  One can only use two monitors at a time though.  Still it is an improvement.  Thus all HDMI cables are not the same.  CIO

<888> 12/21/12 Friday 5:30 P.M..  I put the new Fram air filter in the trunk of the Audi.  I got a $20 Stop and Shop food voucher from the Department of Social Services.  CIO

This week, it is about 29 years ago that I returned from Nantucket to Greenwich, Connecticut, where I have been regularly walking up and down Greenwich Avenue all of those years.  It is more interesting than Nantucket, but Nantucket does offer privacy for those people seeking privacy.   It is also 24 years that I have been living in my current public housing in the Byram section of Greenwich, Connecticut on the remains of the old Lyon Farm, one of the original farms in Greenwich, Connecticut.  However, in public housing, we are not allowed to plant a cash crop.  The most famous member of the Lyon family is the Queen Mum of England who was from the Bowles Lyon family in Scotland.  CIO
