<888> 12/06/12 Thursday 6:55 A.M..  I chatted with a friend in Manhattan at 8 P.M..  The friend stopped by the The Taft School party at the Yale Club this past evening, and nobody from the class of 1968 attended.   I woke up at 5 A.M..  I ate breakfast of oatmeal with honey and milk and sliced banana, a toasted English muffin with olive oil, a 12 ounce glass of watered down punch with vitamins and supplements, and a cup of coffee with Splenda sweetener and milk.  I washed the breakfast dishes.  I made my bed.

Back in the winter of 1977, I was hitchhiking from Key West, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and around Marathon, Florida, I found a Colonel's flight suit for the http://www.af.mil/ and North American Aerospace Defense Command in the bushes.  If had all of the regulation patches on it.  I used to wear it frequently, and as I recall in the summer of 1978 out in Nantucket, I gave to a skier from Fairfield, Connecticut and Stowe, Vermont named Rob Mullerin.  His father worked for http://www.exxon.com/ .  I told him he should go skiing in Colorado Springs.  He lived at the Taft Laundromat in Nantucket, and he later moved to Martha's Vineyard, and that was the last that I heard of him.  My last boss  Jim Hartnett at http://www.polaroid.com/ was retired from http://www.af.mil/ intelligence.  Since i have a Government employee visiting my apartment this morning, I am now flying the U.S.A. stars and stripes and the http://www.af.mil/ flag in the hallway.

For the month of November 2011, it was $138.67 for 814 kWh for 31 days and 26.26 kWh per day with an average temperature of 48.2 degrees Fahrenheit.  CIO

<888> 12/05/12 Wednesday 1:35 P.M..  I went downtown.  I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area.  I stopped by the Greenwich Cigar store, and I bought an Ace's High scratch card for a dollar, but I lost.  I stopped by Subway Sandwich shop on lower Greenwich Avenue, and I bought a ham and cheese sandwich with extras for $2.13.  I stopped by the Senior and the Arts center, and I used the bathroom.  I bought a new 2013 Senior Center Parking permit number 13002 for $5.  I put it on the inside left of my Audi windshield above the current parking permit, which one has to use until the end of 2012.  I then went by CVS, and I picked up two prescriptions.  I used the bathroom there.  I then went by the Chase Bank at the top of Greenwich Avenue.  I finished my walk, and I sat out for a while enjoying the sunny day.  I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought four day old Danish pastries for $2.75, Stop and Shop deli sliced premium ham for $4.99 a pound for $5.06, Stop and Shop deli sliced white American cheese for $5.99 a pound for $5.99, fresh bananas for .79 a pound for .66, and a Bermuda red onion for $1.99 a pound for $1.25 for $15.71 total.  I then returned home.  I chatted with a neighbor, and I put away my groceries.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 5:45 P.M..  I threw out the garbage.  I chatted with neighbors.  I walked around the building.  I picked up the mail.  I chatted with my Town of Greenwich, Connecticut Social Worker.  My Social Worker will be paying me a visit this coming Thursday morning December 6, 2012 at 9:30 A.M..  I am suppose to contact the ceiling installers to see if she can chat with them, when she visits me.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 3:55 P.M..  I made 108 Premier Lights 100 MM filter Peter Stokkebye Turkish pipe tobacco cigarettes while watching Series 5 Episode 4 of "Poirot".

Since although I am half Dutch American, the Dutch do not pay much attention to me except for family members, I am now flying the Scottish Cross of St. Andrews flag and the British Union Jack flag in the hallway, which I guess is a bit more Anglophile for what its worth.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 1:40 P.M..  I chatted with Lawrence E. Larson: Greenwich, CT Lawyer, Lawyer, Attorney, Attorneys , and he recommended that I get the note from my Doctor that I am unable to move the equipment and furniture in my apartment.

I ate the Dinty Moore beef stew and rice mixture that I ate two days ago along with a 12 ounce glass of 7-UP.  I will now try to get around to making cigarettes.

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 12:25 P.M..  I chatted with a professional friend, who told me to call up ADA Home Page - ada.gov - Information and Technical Assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act which I did.  They told me to call up HUD at 1-800-669-9777 which I did, and I left them a message.  One has to remember that I had a major hernia operation over 10 years ago, and I would not want to do anything to cause it to reappear.  I called up Social Services - Town of Greenwich, Connecticut , and I left a message with my social worker.  I will now make cigarettes.  Cigarettes help to reduce stress as anyone who has ever smoked tobacco knows.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 11:25 A.M..  Two of the ceiling and insulation installers rang my door bell.  They seem to think I am a Hyannisport Kennedy which is nobody important as far as I am concerned, since the Scotch Irish have been improving America for a lot longer than any newcomers from Ireland.  They wanted to do my apartment tomorrow, but I convinced them to do it next week.   They told me I would have to disconnect the computers and move over half of the stuff out of the apartment into the hallway which would not be a secure location to leave the valuable equipment unsecured.  I called up a local lawyer Lawrence E. Larson: Greenwich, CT Lawyer, Lawyer, Attorney, Attorneys , but he has not returned my phone call.  I chatted with a friend who is in law enforcement, and he agreed with me I do not have the energy to move all of the various items for the installation progress.  The friend has seen my apartment unlike other people.  He recommended to me to get a note from my Doctor to try to prevent them from bothering me anymore.  I left a message with my Doctor.  I am 62 years old and on medication, and I do not have the energy to go through a lengthy disassemblement of my apartment no matter what benefits the Greenwich Housing Authority thinks the insulation and new ceiling tiles would add.  If the various government agencies involved were really concerned, they would pay for the utility bills instead of harassing myself a disabled individual on medication.  I will have to wait and see what develops.  Obviously, over a long period of time, I could disconnect various electronics, and have the ceiling people carry them out into the apartment along with various pieces of furniture, but that would be time consuming for them, and it would be costly waste of money for the Greenwich Housing Authority.  It was the Federal Government that encouraged people living in Government Housing to set up their own failed business activities, and when I visited http://www.westpoint.mil/ for graduation over 15 years ago, it was Secretary of Defence Perry that encouraged the military to be High Tech.  Obviously, the United States Government tells people do certain things, but when push comes to shove, they do not give anyone backup and pretty much ignore the complaints of the general public.  What I do as a volunteer, http://www.ibm.com/ charges over $400 an hour for, so I would encourage people not to underestimate the worth of my activity over these last 23 years.  I do have a large number of friends and associates.  Maybe http://www.cl-p.com/ can turn off the electricity to various local groups whom are trying to exercise power beyond their authority.  I will now make cigarettes.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 9:30 A.M..  I put the British Union Jack and the Dutch tricolor back up in the hallway, since nobody in Greenwich, Connecticut communicates with me besides one Scottish walker.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 9:25 A.M..  Somebody whom might know, told me yesterday that the best way to lose weight is to drink four cups of green tea a day.  Of course, one might have to go to the bathroom more often.  CIO

!!!!!! <888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 9:05 A.M..  To get the PCI Express video cards to work on the IBM ThinkCentre computers that I have http://mikelouiscott.com/computer.htm  with PCI Express, there is one slightly complicated trick that one has to do with installation http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http://logout.hu/cikk/pcie_vga-t_ibm_thinkcentre_s51-be/teljes.html .  Basically with the card facing one with the cable connectors on the left, on the long slot, one has to cover all of the gold connectors with scotch tape, except the first seven on the left.  It works on the other two PCI Express 16 cards that I have.  If one does not do that, the card will not work just plugging it in.

I will now shower and clean up and make cigarettes.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 8:40 A.M..  To have a faster video card for the third IBM ThinkCentre with Windows 8 on it, I ordered Amazon.com: Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3 HDMI/DVI-I/VGA PCI-Express Graphics Card 100292DDR3L: Electronics for $34.98 with free shipping and a Amazon.com: HDMI Cable (15 feet): Electronics for $4.52 with free shipping for $39.50 total .  It also has a $15 mail in rebate http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/00/30/31/50/97/3031509710._V399381210_.pdf .  The third IBM ThinkCentre has a PCI Express 16 bus, so hopefully it work.  I will move the MSI graphics card from the third IBM ThinkCentre to the Fourth IBM ThinkCentre.  I filled out the $15 rebate form to have available once I receive the video card.  CIO

<888> 12/04/12 Tuesday 6:15 A.M..  I woke up at 4 A.M.. CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 10:55 P.M..  I picked up the mail.  The order with tracking of USPS.com® - Track & Confirm on the order for five 15 Pin SVGA VGA Female to Female Gender Changer Adapter Converter Plug Coupler | eBay for $1.89 each with free shipping for $9.45 total arrived.  I took the HDMI to VGA cable off the Haier HDTV and the Abit computer, and I connected it to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre by the Hallway.  I then used one of the VGA couplers to connect it to another VGA cable which I connected to the Haier HDTV.  I then moved the Acer 19 inch LCD monitor from the Abit computer to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre.  I moved the Dell 20 inch LCD monitor to the FIC server.  I moved the Eizo 19 inch LCD monitor to the Abit computer.  In Dual Display on the fourth IBM ThinkCentre both displays work just fine for multimedia viewing off the internet.  It is a faster computer than the Abit computer.  However, the current IBM display card in it does not support dual monitors in the Windows 8 Demo.  I could order another display card like the one in the third IBM ThinkCentre for $19, which does support dual monitors in Windows 8, but since it is only a Windows 8 Demo installation it is not necessary, unless I thought it was important to display Windows 8 demo on the Haier 32 inch HDTV, which I could do with the third IBM ThinkCentre, if I needed to do so.  I chatted with a relative.  I will now shut down the primary work computer.  I will eat a few day old muffin.  I will then go to bed.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 6:55 P.M..  I chatted with a local walker, and I chatted with a relative.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 2:45 P.M..  I threw out the garbage.  I went downtown, and I went by the Chase Bank at 19 West Putnam Avenue.  I then went by the Wells Fargo Bank on Havemayer Place, and I paid my rent to the Greenwich Housing Authority.  I chatted with a local walker.  I then went by the Department of Social Services at the Greenwich Town Hall, and I got the information I need for my Energy Assistance Application.  I have until April 2013 to apply for it, so when an associate is available, I will set up an appointment to apply for it.  I then went downtown.  I chatted with a local.  They were planting a new tree at the entrance to the Board of Education Parking lot.  It looks quite nice, but it needs to grow a bit.  I walked lower Greenwich Avenue as far as the SUBWAY.com , and I bought a six inch meat ball and cheese sub with the extras for $2 and a ham and cheese sub with the extras for $2 and .25 tax for $4.25 total.   I then walked up Greenwich Avenue, and I ate the meatball sub on a bench in the center of town.  I then used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center.  I then drove over to CVS on Greenwich Avenue.  I picked up a prescription.  I bought two 40 count boxes of Truvia sweetener for $2.99 each for $5.98 total.  I then drove over to the Stop and Shop.  I bought a six pack of day old Kaiser rolls for $1.50, a 16 ounce package of Smart Balance Lite for $3.39, two 14.5 Marie Callender turkey pot pies for $2.50 each, two 14.5 ounce Marie Callender beef pot pies for $2.50 each, two 12 ounce generic honey for $2.25 each, two 48 ounce Quaker Old Fashioned oatmeal for $4.99 each, a 8 ounce Stop and Shop Parmesan and Romano cheese for $2.99, a 12 roll bundle of Scott Toilet Tissue for $6.99, a 10 ounce bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce for $2.29, a 16 ounce package of Stop and Shop Maple flavored bacon for $3.99, and bananas for .79 a pound for .62 and .44 tax for $46.69 total.  I then returned home, and I put away my groceries.  On a warmer today like today, I opened up the living room window for a while to air out the apartment.  I will now eat the Subway ham and cheese sandwich with a bowl of Lays salt and vinegar potato chips and a dill pickle slice and a 12 ounce glass of 7-Up.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 9:05 A.M..  I moved the 19 inch Eizo LCD monitor from the Abit computer to the FIC server.  I moved the 19 inch Acer LCD monitor from the FIC server to the Abit computer.  I then took a HDMI to VGA cable, and I ran it from the second PNY video connector on the Abit computer to the VGA port on the Haier LCD TV.  Thus when the input on the Haier LCD TV is set to VGA it plays the Abit computer content, since I have the Abit computer video set in clone mode for both monitors.  It works just fine.  For a slightly faster computer, when I get the VGA connectors for a longer VGA cable, I could hook up the Haier LCD TV to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre at the hallway entrance, but its current video card will only play in Clone mode which might be fine.  I will now go downtown and do errands.  I will  first eat a few day old muffin before going.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 6:20 A.M..  I have to go out around 8:30 A.M. this morning to pay my rent to the Greenwich Housing Authority, which is an independent agency of the Town of Greenwich which is part of Connecticut which is part of the U.S.A. which is part of the planet Earth which is part of the Solar System which is part of the Universe.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 6:15 A.M..  In my world wide travel on American aircraft, I have been as far south as Tobago, west as Maui, north as Oslo, Norway, and east as Istanbul, Turkey.  Unfortunately when one travels on American aircraft, one needs American money, when one gets there.  The most remote place I have probably been in the world is probably Lanzarote - All About Lanzarote where http://www.nasa.gov/ use to have a ground monitoring station.  It is also very good for star gazing way out there in the middle of the Atlantic ocean without too much electrical lights in the area.  Bermuda is not that remote, since it is close to North Carolina.  Apparently people stay warm in Bermuda with fire places, so since there are not many forests in Bermuda, they must import fire wood from elsewhere.  CIO

<888> 12/03/12 Monday 5:50 A.M..  I threw out the garbage.  In the hallway in my apartment, I put on the right side the U.S.A. flag and on the left side the http://www.af.mil/ flag.  I figure there is no point in flying the British and the Dutch tricolor flags, since the hurricane season is over, they probably have all headed down to Florida and the Caribbean for the winter.  I can quickly change the flags back in case any of them should ever show up, but since there are some many deluxe accommodations for them in this area, they never look me up with all of their money.  On the left hallway side, besides the U.S. Air Force flag, I have a British Union Jack, a Swedish flag, a Bermuda flag, a Dutch Tricolor, and a Saudi Arabian flag.  On the right hallway side, besides the U.S.A. flag, I the British Union Jack, and the Scottish Cross of St. Andrews.  Thus I can fly any permutations and combinations of those flags.  I do have http://www.airforce.mil/ connections since a relative was in the Strategic Air Command now called the Air Defense Command.  Also when I went to http://www.lfc.edu/ in Lake Forest, Illinois, Jim Warburg here in Greenwich wrote my recommendation to Mr. Douglas who was Franklin Roosevelt's secretary of the Air Force.  When I lived in http://www.nantucket.net/ there were Air Force personnel from Otis Air Force base living there, and when I lived in Key West, Florida, there were Air Force personnel from Homestead Air Force base living there.  Also in the old days, I traveled extensively on airplanes, so I have probably been around Air Force personnel.  Charles Lindbergh who was a fourth star Air Force general also used to live in Darien, Connecticut.  Howard Hughes obviously knew some Air Force personnel.  However, the Air Force travels so much and in cold weather they prefer to maintain their equipment down south where it is warmer and more convenient to maintain it, so no one really ever knows where they are until they show up sooner or later.  CIO
