Inside Atlanta is a new Navigator led summer training program in Atlanta, Ga. Like other summer training programs, Inside Atlanta will be comprised of daily paid work, weekly Bible study, local worship at various churches, fellowship meetings, training content and one-to-one discipleship. Participants for this program will be working as paid interns (income=$4948) in various businesses owned or managed by Christian business owners. This program is designed to help train students in four main areas: personal governance, character/leadership development, vision for lifestyle ministry, and integrating faith into marketplace and community life. Internships will be secured prior to arrival for the program. We will be connecting you with a specific internship based on your resume and application and the needs of the employer. All interns will be living together in several units of one apartment complex located in North Atlanta. Each intern will be working at their job for 8 weeks of the 9 week program at 32 hours a week (i.e. Mon-Thurs 9-5pm). The cost of this program is $3000. Your $100 application fee will go towards this cost and the remaining $2900 will be contributed directly to The Navigators by the employer. This program will cover the costs associated with housing, utilities, training program and materials, some meals, some transportation, week-long orientation, weekend travel retreats, and some other expenses. The remaining $2048 of the total $4948 will be paid directly to the intern by the employer and is for use by the intern for personal discretion. Interns will need to purchase groceries, meals out, most gas, entertainment, etc. on their own. Due to staff limitations and the nature of a pilot program, this program will only be accepting 12 male students and 4 female students in its 3rd year. ia_logo_red
