Photos Beginners Meeting
In other areas of the country where Beginners Meetings are an integral part of the recovery process, we are seeing similar results. We remain involved in the Beginners Meetings by taking the Twelve Steps, helping others through the Steps, and if possible, leading these sessions. If you participate in the Beginners Meetings long enough, you WILL experience the miracle and you WILL recover from alcoholism.
During this session, we’ll take Steps Two and Three and establish guidelines for taking the Fourth Step. During the next week, each newcomer is to share his or her inventory with another person or persons.
Older members have told us the only way to understand the Big Book is to try to explain it to someone else. They were right. We didn’t realize how much we could still learn about our textbook for recovery until we started leading these meet- ings.
So, we want to thank you for providing us with the oppor-

tunity to “grow in understanding and effectiveness by once again taking the Twelve Steps along with you. As we have discovered right herein these Beginners Meetings, each time we take the Steps, we grow closer to the “One who has all power.”
