Page 7 (7) limited success at the moment. Boeing has always been a privileged position owing to their early start and continuous development and RD edge. They can rely on their better position to counter Airbus but they need to realize that Airbus has become a serious threat and has enormous economic support on their back along with the political backing up. They also have to realize that their technological superiority and market relationships are their only assets that can keep them in the privileged position they enjoy the market today. They need to focus even harder on RD and customer relationship. Although they have been backed by US government, they won't be able to sustain longer with the economic crisis in front of European synergy in absence of their first mover strategy.
