Department of the Army sponsored Army Substance Abuse Program staff training a.The Director, ARD is responsible for developing the professional development training of the ASAP installation staff and will manage lifecycle training through the DA Civilian Training and Education Development System. b. The Director, ARD is the proponent for ASAP manager, EAP coordinator, PC, RRPC, DTC and UPL training, and will develop a budget for all installation training requirements, with input from the HQ, IMCOM. The Director, ARD will publish a training schedule annually, which includes complete course descriptions and eligibility criteria. c. The installation commander is responsible for resourcing the professional development training of all ASAP installation positions. d. The ASAP personnel will attend additional appropriate professional development training as directed by IMCOM, Talent Management.
