Man/Sin.
Man (male and female) was created in the image of God–having a personality, with the capacity for eternal life, God created the first man and woman to glorify himself. He intended to have fellowship with them—he would love them and they would love and worship him. But the first man and the first woman fell from this position of grace when they disobeyed God. They missed the mark of completely obeying–they sinned Sin is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life--thinking of oneself as being as wise as God or thinking that one doesn’t need to obey God (Gen. 3:3-6, 19, 22-24; 1 John Page 4 of 24
