) or the slash character (
/
). For example, the
/ps=N
and
–ps=N
command-line parameters are equivalent. Put these parameters, along with the name of the interface executable file, into a startup command file. For example, i90.exe /ps=N /ciu#=1 /baudrate=9600 /ec=11 ... Various filename extensions are associated with command files. For example, bat and
.cmd are both acceptable. However, only the bat extension is valid fora command file used by the interface. The name of the startup command file must be the name of the interface executable file, with the
.exe extension replaced with the bat extension. Thus, the startup command file for this interface is typically i90.bat
. The installation program installs a sample command file named i90.bat_new
. You can use this file as a template for the i90.bat that actually runs the interface. The contents of an interface command file can contain the caret line continuation character
(
^
). For example, an i90.bat file with these contents i90.exe ^
/ps=N ^
/ciu#=1 ^
/baudrate=9600 ^
/ec=11 is equivalent to the above example. The maximum length of each line in a command file is 1024 characters. The number of parameters is unlimited, and the maximum length of each parameter is 1024 characters.
