River City Engineering is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer for our South Austin office. Job will require design and project management of predominantly municipal water and wastewater projects under the supervision of Professional Engineers.

Ideal candidate will have their Engineer in Training certification and have 2-3 years of experience in the Austin area, but candidates with 0-5 years will be accepted. Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited school. Candidate should possess an independent entrepreneurial work ethic geared toward successful project completion and customer satisfaction with the personality and communication skills required to motivate employees and build confident lasting relationships with our customers.

This position is open in the Land & Transportation Divisions, and the candidate will work in the West Houston Office at LJA. This candidate is a newly graduated Engineer-in-Training. The candidate will perform a variety of routine tasks, which provide familiarity with the programs, staff and operating procedures of the company. The candidate will be involved with design calculations, plan preparation, specifications and quantity take-offs. This candidate will have up to one year of experience.

1.       Studying civil or construction engineering

2.       Will have completed 120 credit hours by June 2013

3.       Have an interest or experience in cost control/planning and scheduling

   If you have a requisition number: (they begin with WD, URS, EGG, followed by 5 numbers) enter it in the “Requisition Name” field and click the “Search” button at the bottom of the page.

   If you don’t have a requisition number: you can still search by filling in any of the information sections, none are mandatory. Then click the “Search” button at the bottom of the page.

   Available opportunities meeting your selected search criteria will appear on the next screen.

   To learn more about an opportunity click on the blue “Job Title” for details.

   If there’s a position that you are qualified for and interested in, apply by using the “Submit My Resume” option.
