Activities performed:Led in planning the work and organizing the environmental team to: Review the existing Environmental Impact Assessment and Poverty and Social Assessment and carry out any further field studies and surveys necessary to ensure that these assessments reflect current base line conditions. Prepare the following reports that shall reflect the current baseline conditions and the scope of works determined in the design review, all in accordance with the requirements of the Bank’s Social and Environmental Policy, 2008: (a) Environmental and Social Impact Analysis Report (ESIAR); (b) Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP), which shall update the ESAP shown in Appendix C that has been previously agreed between the ARS and the Bank; (c) Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP); (d) Non-Technical Summary (NTS). In the event that any acquisition of land and property is required for the project, the Consultant shall also prepare a Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) and/or a Livelihood Restoration Framework (LRF) in accordance with the requirements of Performance Requirement 5 in the Bank’s Social and Environmental Policy, 2008. Carry out all necessary public consultations required by the Bank’s Social and Environmental Policy, as set out in the SEP. The results of the public consultations are to be incorporated in the final versions of these reports.
