Activities performed:Design Phase: Review the EMP and advise FIPAG of any deviation from the WB safeguards instruments and immediately informed to FIPAG;

Construction Supervision Phase: (1) responsible for the day-to-day supervision and contract management in accordance with the the EMP. (2) Responsible for supervising the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) implementation during the construction phase. (3) Responsible for instructing and monitoring the Contractor regarding compliance with health and safety precautions and actions to comply with all the environmental requirements of the Scheme during construction, as specified in the EMP. (4) Maintain all necessary engineering and environmental records pertaining to civil engineering works of this nature, including but not limited to rainfall and other climatic conditions, contractor’s work force levels, minutes of meetings, photographic records, financial reconciliations, Environmental Method Statements etc. (5) Confirmation of contractor’s compliance with environmental and social safeguard documents, including the EMP and health and safety requirements
