we would like to encourage you to come for hiv testing at the anonymous clinic at the thai red cross aids research centre
we have a new blood test which can tell if someone has just had hiv infection within the past month (before the routine blood test is positive)
You may be eligible for this study if you are:

blood test shows that you have recently been infected with hiv infection*
*this blood test will be done on the leftover blood from routine HIv testing and will be free.
In order for us to be able to contact you if you are found to have recently been infected with hiv, we ask that you give us your name and contact information
Why the study is being done:
to see how HIV affects the body in early hiv infection and how the body fights back. we will see if we can improve hiv disease by treating early with hiv medications.
what happens if you decide to join?
