Finally, managers should emphasize quality and environmental issues during the product design process. In order to measure this dimension, the following aspects maybe considered: (1) Are quality and environmental issues considered during the product design process? (2) Are stakeholders needs and expectations taken into account for product design purposes? (3) Is the life-cycle analysis of products considered during the product design, taking into account quality and environment- related issues? The dimensions proposed in Table 5 maybe used in the evaluation of QM, EM and QEM systems, because the previous research on QM and EM has found that they are important for quality and environmental concerns.
