Abstract: A pipe steel bumper is designed for front zone of an automobile and analysed using ANSYS 14.0. The results are compared to the design and analysis of a composite bumper and the better material is concluded with reference to the results.

Abstract: Copper powder is reinforced with tungsten and titanium diboride(TiB2) for different compositions and fabricated by powder metallurgy technique. The various composite specimens were tested for microstructure properties and mechanical properties. An increase the mechanical strength of the material was observed as the composition of TiB2 increased.
