PIPING ENGINEER ( UNDERGROUND PIPING): Acting as part of the owners Saudi Aramco / Total Joint Venture Project Management Team, on the new 12US$ Bill`, Export Oil Refinery, which is to be built in Jubail City 2 K.S.A. Working in the main Contractors ( Technip Italy ) offices in Rome. Providing technical services, evaluating data regarding scopes of work. Coordinating underground piping interfaces between relevant different E.P.C .contractor packages & Package 5A,which is TPIT responsibility. Visiting site to monitor progress & hold meetings with other package contractors. Making sure T.P.I.T conform to Satorp. JER . procedures. Reviewing / commenting on detail design drawings for constructability & also the reviewing of the planning schedules at levels 2,3 & 4. Producing the Site coordination plan to minimize & avoid possible schedule & cost impacts between the various E.P.C. Packages. Writing weekly reports. Working to SATORP JER Standards. DEPUTY PROJECT ENG` ( OSBL ) :- Acting as part of owners R.L.O.C, ( Chevron / QP / Total ) Project Magm`t Team. Monitoring & Controlling main contractor Technip France`s Engineering scope of work on the 1US$ Billion L.S.T.K. contract green field Ethylene Cracker Project at Ras Laffan City. Consisting of c3 / c4 ( LPG ) & c5 / c8 ( Benzene / Hexane ) product lines, to Jetty loading arm & Dolphin Energy` s plant. VOC, N2 & Pyrolisis gas lines at Jetty, Ethane & Fuel gas lines between RasGas & RLOC. JUNE 07- AUGUST 08 BP- GUPCO JV LOC`N: EGYPT



ASSET MODIFICATIONS COORDINATOR: Acting for Gupco, who have a Joint Venture agreement with BP in Egypt. Working in the head office in Cairo, as part of the Projects Group , with weekly site visits to Western Desert brownfield facilities. Supplying support to operations by tracking, all assets on ongoing modifications & the upgraded project program. Which extended to both operational oil & gas plant sites. Modifications included the introduction of a water-flood scheme compromising numerous wells & injection flow lines. Using the B.P.(MOC) management of change process , through to close out, etc, by obtaining signatures from, H.S.E. depart`, R.J.O`s, Engineers, Technical Authorities, District Managers, etc. Responsible for corresponding with contractors executing the modification projects, to any change order requests, correct technical quality, health & safety standards, cost & schedules.Close tracking progress of M.O.C.`s. Interfacing with B.P. Operations specialists on any modifications. Working to B.P.` s `8` Golden Rules & reporting to BP` s Engineering Team Leader.

AUG 06 – JUNE 07 BRITISH PETROLEUM LOC`N: AZERBERJAN



CONSTRUCTION WORKPACK ENGINEER: Working in head office in Baku for PSN who are acting as BP’ s onshore engineering arm on the Caspian region pipeline facilities of W.R.E.P & B.T.C. in Georgia & Sangachal Oil Terminal in Azerbaijan. Work includes compiling work packs, scheduling work scope, making sure that the engineering & design teams meet their deliverables, liaising with contractors, issuing contracts & amendments, CTR`s, estimates, solving day to day issues & ensuring work schedules & completion dates are achieved on Brown Field mod`s & upgrades, etc.Working in close relationships with BP`s delegated RJO`s,assisting with M.O.C & adhering to their `8 Golden Rules`. Writing weekly reports. Reporting to the Implementation Manager.








MAR 05 - AUG 06 FLUOR INTERNATIONAL LOC’N: KUWAIT


PIPELINE/PIPING CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER: Job 1: Installation of new Booster Station 130. Responsible on behalf of the Management Contractors team. Briefed to monitor/observe the Safety and Quality of EPC Contractors performance on the installation of 36” cross desert Gas Pipeline, block valves, pig launchers, road crossings, Tie -ins to existing GOSP & ‘Greenfield’ Compressor Booster Station. Pipeline commissioning, pigging, hydro testing & shutdowns, by local multi-disciplined / multicultural contractors, on the Fire Rebuild Contract. Also including the monitoring of installation of ‘Prosernat’ condensate & gas dehydration systems & Performing ‘Walk downs’ on the above equipment. Reporting to the Site Manager. Job 2: Replacement of North Kuwait Crude Oil Export System. Responsible on behalf of the Client’s PMC Team for Monitoring the EPC contractor Petrofac’s pipe work, on the replacement of ‘Crude Oil Export System’, with new Daniel ‘Custody Transfer’ Metering Skid & upgrading of other systems on ‘Brownfield’ sites in North Kuwait. Installation of various size sour service carbon steel & GRP piping. Hydro testing, flushing, blowing etc, of lines and major shutdown of Gathering Centres to facilitate tie-in of Metering Skid. Permitting authority. Reporting to Lead Engineer. Liaison with contractors on H.S.E, change orders, Quality Assurance, Commissioning & hand over. Ensure that the work was constructed in accordance with the approved Installation Procedures, Project Quality Plan, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permit`s etc`. All to A.N.S.I. B31-3, B31-8. NOV 00 - NOV 04 RAS GAS LOC’N: QATAR

LEAD CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR: Seconded to RasGas on their two train LNG Gas Plant in Ras Laffan City in Qatar to work on the On & Offshore Facilities comprising Tank Storage Areas, Gas, Condensate & Treat` Plants, Jetties, Buildings, Production Platforms etc. Managed Multidisciplined, Multicultural Construction work comprising all ongoing modifications, Tie-Ins, Turnarounds & associated works related to the existing Plant & Offshore Facilities. Including new office bld’gs, upgrade on Water Treat’ Plant with new Water Storage, Emulsion Breaking, Surge, Aerator, Chlorine Tanks, etc. Operated PTW systems & Conducted Job Safety Analysis, etc. Acted as Company Rep on all the Construction Services from Tender to Commissioning & Handover. MECHANICAL FIELD ENGINEER: On the 1200 M.W. CCGT plant at Saltend, Hull for Management Contractor working for client ENTERGY. Work entailed writing Field Change Notices & answering Technical Queries for Civil & Mechanical Contractors (Engineering Change Notices handled by H.O) & implemented at site. Approved Method Statements & Signing off Mech’ Compl’ Test Packs.Wrote spec’s for Hydro Pneumatic Testing on B.O.P. Piping and Static Equipment. Providing Tech Support for Subcontractors to conform to Raytheon Design requirements & to resolve problems & conflicts. Systems worked on included:- Utilities, Fuel Gas, H.R.S.G. (Austrian Energy), A.B.B., Steam Boilers etc. Three x 7OIF2, M.H.I. SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER: Work entailed accumulating information to put together price on bid proposal for Mechanical/ Piping package for the ISLA UTILITIES Co. proposed 75 MW Power Station on the ISLA Oil Refinery, Curacao for Management Contractor Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Also worked on the Atlantic L.N.G. Plant at Point Fortin on Mechanical & Piping Package “C”. Areas 7, 8 & 9 Piperack, Flares, Propane & Ethylene Storage, NGL, Trestle & Jetty Head. APR 98 - AUG 98 STONE & WEBSTER ENG, UK LOC’N: ENGLAND


INSPECTION ENGINEER/PIPING COORDINATOR: Acting as Company Rep. on the 750 MW C.C.G.T. Power Station Project at Sutton Bridge for management contractor working for client ENRON. Work entailed monitoring fabrication off isometrics, handling M.T.O.’s, checking & material matching ISO’s for fabrication at our “Balance of Plant” sub contractor’s facilities at North Shields & Pembroke. Systems included Boiler Blowdown, Main & Low Pressure Steam, Fuel Gas, Condensate, Closed Cooling-Raw-Potable-Waste Water, Instrument & Plant Air, Wash water Feed, H.R.S.G. Blowdown, Auxiliary Steam, Boiler feed Water, etc. with CR/MO, S/S, C/S, P11, P22, P91 etc. pipe and fittings. Approved & signed off weekly & monthly progress reports for milestone payments. Wrote Weekly Reports with “Areas of Concern”. All to ASTM, ANSI B31.1 + B318 and British Standard on ISO 9001 Site.

MAY 97 - NOV 97 NOELL-PREUSSAG LOC’N: PAKISTAN

SENIOR PIPING/MECH’ SUPERVISOR: For lead contractor NOELL-PREUSSAG of Germany on the Turnkey Liquid Storage & Bulk Terminal at Port Qasim. Work entailed Monitoring & Supervision of Fabrication, Installation & Hydro testing of Acetic Acid, Paralexyne, Foam, Nitrogen, Utilities, etc. Piping to A.P.I. & A.N.S.I. Standards + “WAVIN” gre Fire Fighting System along jetty & underground.Installation of Pumps, Loading Arms, Pigging Facilities, Slop vessels, Diesel, Hot Water & Slop Tanks, Heaters, Truck loading Facilities, Buildings, Structural Steel etc with GAs, P & Ids, ISO’s. Performed Walk downs and Punch Listing of all the above. Construction Co-ordination with Multidisciplined Civil, Mech’, & Tank Erection Contractors on Jetty and Tank Farm + Commissioning on all of the above for Client ENGRO-PAKTANK .
OCT 96 - FEB 97 UHDE INTERNATIONAL LOC’N: QATAR

PIPING ENGINEER: For UHDE of Germany on QAFCO III urea plant extension at Umm Said. Work entailed Steam Tracing of 60 Product Lines M.T.O.’s. Performing Walk downs and Punch Listing Utilities, Condense, steam, cooling water, CO2, Ammonia, Product Cooling etc, Lines. To and from Scrubbers, Reactor, Evaporation, Re-Circulation, Hydrolyzers, Synthesis, Dessorption, Granulation Systems, Jetty and Tank pipe work, with P.F.Ds, I.S.O’s etc. Monitoring of Structural Steel Installation. Plus Cold & Hot Insulation on above systems. Witnessing and Signing off Hydro test and Mech-Completion Cert’s to a Permit System of Work and Reinstatement of above lines. Used Multidisciplined & Multicultural Labour. All to ANSI/ASME B34.3, B31.8, B31.1, API and D.N.V standards on ISO 9002 plant.

FEB 96 - SEP 96 THYSSEN-LURGI-TECHNIP LOC’N: GERMANY

LEAD PIPING SUPERVISOR: For Technip on the Management Contract for Construction of a 5Bn DM Grassroots Oil Refinery known as LEUNA 2000 for Client ELF PETROLEUM (MIDER). Work entailed checking & monitoring Civil & Underground Pipelines sub-contractors on the installation of road crossings. Plus the “WAVIN” co. G.R.E. Firewater system on the 700 sq. mtr site. Issued test packs etc for Mech-Completion Cert’s. Work Permits, Progress Reports, Non Conformance Reports, Managed Punch List etc. Followed Project Procedures & Project QA/QC Plan. Wrote Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports, Collated for Mech- Completion Cert’s. All to DIN, ASMI 31.3, ANSI B16.5 & ISO 9001 Standards.

JUL 95 - DEC 95 BADGER (BV) HOLLAND LOC’N: THAILAND


Q.C. SUPERVISOR: For (JV) of Badger / Fluor Daniel known as TRC on Management Contract for construction of the Grass Root 150,000 B/D Oil Refinery at Mab Ta Phut for Client PTT/SHELL. Work entailed monitoring sub-contractors QA/QC Departments, Clearing Punch lists and Hydro test Packages, with P & ID’s witnessing hydro tests and Re-Instatement after Hydro test. Signed Off completion certificates. All to ASME B31-1, B31-3 A.P.I. and ANSI B16-5 and ISO 9001 standards for timely completion of Process Facilities (Platformer and Crude Unit).

JUL 94 - DEC 94 LARMAG ENERGY (NV) BERMUDA LOC’N: TURKMENISTAN (FSU)

PROJECT ENGINEER: On various On/Offshore projects in Cheleken Oil Town. Including Construction of 100 man camp. Pre-engineering on G.O.S.P. Process Upgrade, prior to contractors scope of work. Implemented construction efforts by main contractor. Supervised all site work. Responsible for QC, Material Control, B.O.M’s. etc. on phases one to four. Controlled Staff of UK, Swedish and Polish Multidisciplined Subcontractors plus local labour numbering approximately 60 people. Fabricated and Erected Piping on Offshore Platforms and Pipeline Shore Construction. Reported to Engineer Coordinator/Operations Manager.

MAR 94 - JUN 94 DEPA-PIPE LINE ENG` LOC’N: GREECE

PIPELINE ENGINEER: Acting as Clients’ Representative: For DEPA-PLE on the 27 km, 10", 19 Bar medium pressure Gas Pipeline System in Larisa. Work entailed Reviewing, Approving, Finalising Locations of Equipment and Installation. Reviewing Drawings, Specifications, Documents, Test Cert's, Spare Parts Lists, Procedures, Vendors Lists, Project Quality Plan and Schedules of Main Contractor. Liaised with DEPA-PLE, QA/QC, Project Control, Contract Admin, Planning, Cost, Document Control, etc, dept's. Monitored contractor’s schedules of Design and Construction and handled any queries and requests. Worked to ANSI-B, API, ASME IX Spec's and Produced Weekly and Monthly reports with “Areas of Concern”.

AUG 91 - DEC 92 LAVALIN INT INC, CANADA LOC’N: SYRIA

PIPELINE FIELD ENGINEER: Advising local contractor Milihouse on Construction of 160km 18" x 8" Main & Spur lines off Total 460km Omar Gas Pipeline. Supervised Stringing, Measure and Bend (over the trench), Welding, Coating, Lowering-in, Tie-Ins, Fibre Optic Cable, Padding, Road, Wadi, Rail crossings, Pigging and Testing, Final Tie-Ins. using Polish NDE subcontractors. Installed Pig Launchers, Receivers, Fuel Gas heaters, Metering Runs, Block Valve Stations, etc, on Spur Lines to 2 Power Stations & 1 Cement Plant. Hydro tested & precommissioned above, all on Spread 2 off 3 Spread Line. Used Lavalin Eng Drawings and Specs, MTO’s, Handled and Solved Site Queries where possible, made and kept current "bar chart" for progress & made sure Milihouse kept the QA/QC "as builts" in order. Reported to Resident Construction Manager. All for client AL Furat Petrol Co (Shell).

OCT 90 - APR 91 BIP ENG ANTONY, FRANCE LOC’N: ZEULENRODA (GER)

PIPING ENGINEER: Supervised & Monitored 40 Polish, Supervisors, Welders, Fitters, etc, on Installation, Insulation, Testing & Precommissioning of Steam and Condense Lines, Hot, Soft, Ice, Potable, Demin & Industrial Water Lines.
