The aroma is already fantastically beautiful and draped with strawberry in the usual good old style. On the other hand the flavour is almost raw in relation to how it should be. Suffering from recent disgorging and premature release. Will be great.

A shockingly good wine with the most Burgundy-like Montrachet bouquet one could imagine. When the oak barrel is integrated with roasted coffee beans, nut toffee, chocolate, acacia and hazelnuts while simultaneously giving the origin free play, then it is difficult not to get carried away by the joy such wines can offer. This is just such a wine! Never sold as a vintage.

A wine that is far too young and recently disgorged, with sublime beauty. Slightly too shy at present, but as lovely as a Scandinavian summer night. Swirling, dancing mousse, creamy and chalky delicate little aromas and scintillating grace in the mouth.

They have succeeded in getting this wine together right from the first release. A sensual wine with glorious taste layers and beautiful colour. Extremely integrated and harmonious with a heavily perfumed bouquet of sea-splashed Pinot and strawberries on the verge of overripeness. The lighter aspects of the wine manifest themselves more markedly in the creamy flavour.

Was released slightly too early and was therefore different from the way it usually is. It rapidly became bloody nice and pompously stunning with sweet candy tones and an attractive prettiness. Somewhat of a break with traditional style but at least as nice as usual! Like a strawberry-flavoured creamy ball of toffee with a caressingly fluffy texture.

Super-handsome and ultra-sophisticated right from the start. Perhaps slightly too much stone and banana when one approaches this beauty in its youth. But anyway an unmistakeable creaminess and classic top level quality-wise all the way through this entire experience.

For the first time Patrick has answered my prayers. A blanc de Noirs from the oldest and best vines at Verzenay. In this case it is an utter respectfulness towards the greatness of this vineyard and a trust in nature that gives the wine its greatness. A maximal concentration of fruitiness in the wine with a polished sweetness and Winston Churchill-like tones of liquorice, dark chocolate and apricot preserves. Wonderfully good even by way of being a fruit bomb which causes many of the thirsty to drink it far too young. Store it and see how the terroir slowly makes its appearance and how smokiness makes the wine rise to even more exciting heights. Thank you Patrick!
