JROC Assists the CJCS in: • Identifying, assessing, and validating joint military requirements and the core mission area associated with each requirement • Establishing and assigningpriority levelsfor joint military requirements. • Reviewing the estimated resources requiredto fulfill joint military requirements • Ensuring: • that resource levels are consistent with the level of priorityfor each requirement. • the consideration of trade-offs among cost, schedule, and performance objectives for joint military requirements. • Assisting acquisition officials in identifying alternatives for MDAPs • Establishing an objective forthe time within which an IOCshould be delivered to meet each joint military requirement
