Advance Agro, Thailand is a Conglomeration of companies which is divided into 90 individual companies which has various branches spread all over the globe in a state of the art,100 million tone Paper plant dealing with Paper manufacturing and Power Supply. A pioneer of sorts, Advance Agro, Thailand was the one of the first Large Scale Industrial Corporation in Thailand which undertook


computerization on a vast scale. This included setting up an Internet based market place, deploying ERP Solutions using SAP in order to streamline its operations and increase productivity.

Role & Responsibilities:


As a SAP SD Consultant my responsibilities were divided into two parts i.e. part of the implementation team and acting as a post implementation support which included providing end user training to the Thai staff in SD for the company employees.

SAP Up Gradation Project required the Version Up gradation from 4.6C version to 4.7 EE.

• Study of the Complete Landscape for the Version Up gradation.
• Preparation Project plan, Technical and Functional Specifications and Process Flow
• Designed the project roadmap.
• Preparation of Functional Specifications.
• Established general settings and completed specific configurations
• Definition and Assignment of Enterprise Structure to the documentation.
• Customization and Creation of Customer Master Records.
• Customizing the utilities of sales documents like Inquiry, Quotation & Sales Order.
• Configuration of Output types relevant Sales Documents.
• Unit and Integration testing of the Final Configuration.
• Go live and post Go live support to the Project

As a multinational corporation, Kubota Engine Company conducts its global business operations from various subsidiaries from regional headquarters in Canada,Australia,Japan,andUK world head quarters at USA.SAP was chosen for Kubota, ERP operations. Kubota has four competency centers. Presently, Sierra Atlantic is giving Level 1, 2&3 supports. Level 2&3 support is at Sierra Atlantic Offshore Development Center, Hyderabad and USA (Fermount).

Responsibilities:

Configuration and customization of Sales and distribution module completely including
• Customization of Customer Master / Material Master with field level Customization
• Pricing procedures.
• Customization of Sales Document Types, Delivery and Billing, derived from Standard SAP Document Types.
• Copy Control for Standard Sales order, Return process and Credit memo process.
• Out line agreement Quantity contract, Value contracts and Schedule line contract.
• Customization of Item Category / Item Category groups.
