Many members couldn’t work a lot on the project because of a lack of time due to exams and reports.
Problem of the sound: libvlc catch the event before the application.
The Android recorder works but there are still some issues:

  • Phone always records video like you are holding horizontally.

    • Neven’s explanation : No matter how you hold the phone (vertical or horizontal); VLC will always receive the video like the phone is held horizontal. If you rotate the phone while you are recording, the video would disappear from the phone screen but streaming would go on. I have modified the code to always run recording application in horizontal mode, so that rotating the phone doesn’t affect visibility of the video.

  • Also the sound was not working.

The development of the Android recorder is slow done because of problems with the wireless of Android: the 1.5 version doesn’t support wireless in FER University, neither to the laptop’s adhoc network.


We’ll meet this week to test the entire chain and prepare/improve the RC version.
WPF is definitely not possible to use for now with many VLC player into one application (with one player it’s working).
