New for 2017: Drew Exposition, often referred to as America’s Amusement Park on tour, has added a new classic ride to this year’s fair, The North Georgia State Fair Mega Slide- At 50-feet high and rippling out another 170 feet, the yellow and green Mega Slide will be one of the most iconic structures at the North Georgia State Fair. With wavy lengths of grooved, galvanized metal over a scaffolding support, the newest ride at Jim R. Miller Park will have everyone talking about the yellow slide with five humps! It is grooved to keep riders going straight and waxed periodically to keep riders from slowing down! This instant classic will be fun for the whole family.

Firemen High Dive Show– Big splashes in a small pool! In addition to comedy dives, this show features Olympic-style dives, a high dive and a fire dive! Parents and kids of all ages will watch in amazement at this engaging and family-friendly show.

Kachunga and the Alligator Show– From deep in the swamps of Florida comes KACHUNGA! Watch in astonishment as he apprehends ferocious man-eating reptiles with his bare hands. You’ll feel your adrenaline surge as you witness a man pit his strength and agility against nine feet and 300 pounds of lashing tail and gnashing jaws in a dangerous dance of reflexes and cunning. Kachunga is a real American Bushman who dares to step foot into the wet domain of the alligator and would make Crocodile Dundee look like a wimp!

Horses, Horses, Horses– Lisa Dufresne will delight and entertain the entire family. She has taken her life-long love and passion for animals and transformed it into a stunning show of animal mastery. She is traveling with three horses and nine American miniatures. Her horses perform five acts, including a comedy show

Treeman and Cowboy Woody– the phenomenon known as the Walking TreeMan! Barely distinguishable from the real trees, Walking TreeMan moves slowly and deliberately down the street, enchanting all that meet him. At over 12 feet tall, TreeMan can be seen from 150 yards away! Keep your eyes peeled also for someone dressed as Woody from Toy Story…only he’s 10 feet tall! He will be performing amazing lasso tricks to entertain the fair goers of all ages!
