3767 AUST WW2 1939 DATED CLOTH RUBBERIZED GAS MASK AND RESPIRATOR WITH CANVAS CARRY SATCHEL & CONTAINER OF ANTI-GAS OINTMENT No: 2 container of anti-dimming compound for eye pieces & cardboard container with five spare anti-gas eyeshields. Has fibre dogtag to "VX13929 J.C. Bendall" attached to rubberized cloth hose. Canvas carry satchel with thin white card, used to tie around soldier's chest when in the "ready " position. Satchel also named to J.C. Bendall. Enlisting in 1940, at date of discharge in 1967, J.C. Bendall Held the rank of Brigadier. Posting at discharge was the "Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers". Service wear and soiling to satchel. Grade II- $200

3773 GB WW2 SCARCE GAS WARDEN BELT SET AND STANDARD SERVICE RESPIRATOR. Belt set made of canvas and 37 pattern web, steel braces to hold the respirator canister (filter), water container, and on the side is a warning horn with rubber air pump (not working due to storage wear), made by 'Siebe Gorman & Co Ltd London' 1941 filter and 1942 mask, Grade II- SCARCE piece of WW2 equipment. $250
