He is the deputy director of business relations and development for Miami International Airport and four Miami-Dade general aviation airports. He worked at the Atlanta airport from 1990 to 2001, last serving as interim assistant general manager of business and finance. He return to manage Hartsfield-Jackson's concessions, properties, new business development and customer service

Mr. Miguel Southwell has been a General Manager of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Mr. Southwell serves as the Assistant Director of Business Development at Miami-Dade Aviation Department and he served as a Deputy General Manager for Commercial Development at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He joined the Atlanta airport from the Miami-Dade Aviation Department.

Alexander C.Taylor Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Cox Enterprises



Alex Taylor is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Cox Enterprises, a private, family-owned company based in Atlanta, Georgia with more than $18 billion in annual revenues and 60,000 employees worldwide. He oversees the company’s three subsidiaries, Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group, as well as its long-term growth and investment plans. Taylor serves on Cox Enterprises’ board of directors and is the great-grandson of James M. Cox, who founded the company in 1898.

Taylor previously served as executive vice president of strategic investments at Cox Enterprises, where he had oversight of diversification funds in a wide-range of businesses, including energy, technology and health care. He led the creation of Techstars Atlanta, an incubator funded by Cox with the goal of creating and keeping start-ups in the metropolitan Atlanta region.



During his 16-year career at Cox, Taylor has held numerous positions within the company. He was senior vice president of field operations for Cox Communications, the company’s broadband and cable division. As executive vice president of Cox Media Group, he oversaw its largest television, radio, newspaper and digital properties, and led the creation of the company’s first cross-platform newsroom. Taylor began his career as a reporter for the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel in Colorado

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the TCA 2017 Annual Dinner Please note that the meeting will be held on Thursday February 16th at Cox Enterprises 6305 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA 30328. The dinner is organized by TCA in collaboration with the Cox Enterprises. We will also be launching our new 2017 Board of Directors and giving scholarship money to local college students soon to be joing the transportation industry.
