Chairman and Coordinator of orthopaedic undergraduate teaching at every level, from 1977 - 1987, and membership on various university committees. Nominated for undergraduate teaching award on two occasions.
Graduate Education
Program Director for the Department of Orthopaedics from 1988 to 1994. Service on a wide variety of university and national committees, and member of the Board of Examiners of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada from 1987 to 1991. Sponsorship of resident research since 1977. Nominated for the postgraduate teacher award, Faculty of Medicine, 1990. Sustained aggregate “effectiveness” score of 5/5 in confidential resident evaluations in recent years.
