manipulating their placenta, using charms and covenants, throwing things in the sea and by witchcraft. When Jesus was born, Herod, (the spirit that kills good things in infancy) tried to kill Him. Joseph was warned by an angel to take Him to Egypt, thus His life was spared. The devil, using human agents like Herod and Pilate and the religious rulers of the day, got Jesus crucified. The devil did not realise that the death of Jesus marked the beginning of his defeat. The day Jesus died, he jubilated. He thought he had destroyed God's plan. On the resurrection morning, he wept as the Lord of glory rose from the dead. God's prophecy had come to plant the seed of the woman making it impossible to destroy the destiny of Jesus. By killing Jesus, the devil helped Him fulfil His destiny.
