BIG SHOW!
For those of you that have never been to the Spring
MailCom in Atlantic City, I urge you to attend. Even if you have attended a National Postal Forum or Fall MailCom nothing compares to the “Big Show” in Atlantic City.
Spring MailCom is the largest mail communications management convention in the world with over 500 booths and over 230 vendors. Last year over 8,000 delegates attended. The sheer size of the show guarantees that you will see products that you have never seen before and network with industry professionals you have never met before. MailCom also has industry specific networking
groups for Government,
Non-Profit,
Insurance,
Utilities, Education and many more.
This year’s key note speakers include broadcaster Hugh Downs and former
NFL quarterback Phil Simms and,
as in previous
years, our local chapters membership will be heavily involved with presenting seminars and hosting round table discussions. This year you will not want to miss Chuck Zeikle’s seminar “Professional Certification for Mail Systems Managers” -- a valuable tool if you plan to apply for the CMDSM certification.
This year the conference is scheduled for May 8-11 so the climate in New Jersey should be pleasant and in sharp contrast to the snow and freezing rain experienced at past MailCom's held in March.
