Max, the team's captain, was confident though. He was the only person on the team who had played against Molina High School before. He knew they were
the defending state champions, but he wasn't scared. He was always the confident one. The only thing unusual about Max was that he normally talked quite a bit before the game. Today he was quiet. Still, he walked confidently and gave everyone a small grin.
He was ready, and the team was ready too.
