Title    Verizon FiOS TV Interactive app support

Verizon FiOS is a bundled home communications i.e. Internet access, telephone, and television service, operating over a fibre-optic communications network, that is offered in some areas of the United States by Verizon Communications. Verizon is one of the first major U.S. carriers to offer fibre to the home, and received positive ratings from Consumer Reports among cable television and Internet service providers. Other service providers often use fiber optics in the network backbone and existing copper or infrastructure for residential users. FiOS Internet gives the fastest upload speeds and astonishingly clears streaming videos with 30 Mbps downstream and 5 Mbps upstream. FiOS TV Widgets are small, Internet-enabled applications that run on the FiOS TV set top box written using the Lua language. The Widgets can render graphics and text on the Television screen, interact with a user via remote control, and exchange information with Internet Web sites. Widgets provide an interactive Television experience by enabling viewers to easily interact with the content they are viewing.

Project #2

 

Title    Video Media Server

The VMS1100 media server features six tuners and a 1TB hard drive. You can connect up to five Motorola boxes+ IPC1100 IP-based set-top boxes to it to expand your DVR's reach to six TVs. We can actually setup two Media Servers in your house and then scale the system up to 12 TVs. The experience on the clients is nearly identical to that of the TV connected to the server. The whole thing works over IP and with built-in MoCA it'll run over the existing coax cables in the house.

Title    Lau-based HSN FiOS TV Widget Certification

The scope of this project includes the features and functionality of HSN Samsung App to be developed using HTML5 that runs on Samsung Smart TVs, Panasonic TV’s and Verizon VMS Motorola boxes. The functionality of this application is derived from HSN Verizon HTML5 App and also HSN Mediaroom App and Vision App. The side bar application is based on the Yahoo widget. This also includes Ticker mode.

     To certify the HSN Application in Samsung and Panasonic Smart TVs            

 

Title    LVS Multiple Projects New

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVSC) is one of the leading global developers of destination properties. Its resorts feature high-end accommodations, gaming and entertainment, convention and exhibition facilities, celebrity chef restaurants and clubs, as well as an art and science museum in Singapore. As a part of this project I have also delivered Microsoft CRM application for LVSC.

With this project Our client introduced Android based Televisions to market, where user gets many new features and TV could be used for many purpose other than watching TV alone, Users could download APP’s from play store to TV, we initially started with Android jelly bean OS currently working on Android-L(Lollipop) version of TV, Our client and HCL has plans of upgrading TV to latest version of Android, i.e Android-M(marshmallow).
