Dear Hiring Manager,

My full name is Eric Vincent Friedlund and I'm a graduating Senior from San Leandro High School. I've been through a great deal of experiences and have a hardened composure and set of core values different from most. I take pride in my education and try my best to live up to expectations, whatever they may be. As I'm transitioning from high school to the college life, I feel that I will be in need of experience in the work force and a little side money to cover future expenditures, so I will be applying for a Summer job at Office Depot because I enjoy its clean, simple atmosphere.

A good question to ask is what I can bring to the table, and I'm confident to say I've prepared a feast. I'm moderately skilled in computers and electronics, and I like to stay pretty informed on the newest gadgets and systems so I don't fall behind. I'm skilled in nearly all Microsoft Office programs and many other office-related programs. I'm an exceptional math student, having completed higher math courses in Alegebra I&II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. I'm a profound English student that takes pride in his grammar and spelling through writing and speech. I'm very resourceful and usually find answers one way or another, but usually by the internet, so there's no pestering for answers from me. I'm a hard worker down to the bone and if I don't do the job quickly, I do it accurately. A last benefit of hiring me is small can of strength; After 2 and a half years of gymnast and then 1 year of weightlifting class in high school, I've gained the strength to squat 300lbs and bench press around 150lbs. No package is too heavy for me.
In advance, I would like to thank you for even considering reading up my cover letter as it's hard to be employed, nowadays. If employed, I will make sure to work at the zenith of my abilities to get the job done, or further, no matter the job.

Respectfully yours,

Eric Friedlund
