C2 is the connected component of  which contains v0.
EXAMPLE If u = (r0, 0) is in the interior of the CS domain of the polar CS generating function F of 5.2.2 Example, then the 1st-coordinate component curve is C1( ) = F(r0, ) = (r0 cos( ), r0 sin( ) ), and the 2nd-coordinate component curve is C2( r ) = F(r, 0) = (r cos(0), r sin(0)).
