AUDIENCE COUNCIL APPLICATION FORM
Closing date: Friday 29 September 2006
Audience Councils are independent bodies made up of viewers, listeners and online users who volunteer their time to comment on BBC programmes, services and policies. Members are drawn from all ages, life experiences and locations, to reflect the widest possible range of views and interests. Membership is open to anyone except people holding political office* above Parish Council level, employees of a BBC supplier or another media organisation.
Membership is for three years, beginning in January 2007. Each council meets six times a year, usually at the regional BBC centre. Members are also invited to attend public meetings. Travel expenses are paid.
If you are a regular user of BBC services and interested in joining the Audience Council for your area, please complete and return this form using the enclosed pre-paid envelope.
