Brother expands its scanner line-up to include desktop models

Building on a strong history of offering multi-function machines with reliable scanning capabilities, the ImageCenter™ ADS desktop scanner models compliment our recent expansion into the mobile scanner category. They offer high-quality, high-speed scanning at a great value. These desktop scanners help maximize small to mid-size business work processes, by facilitating the conversion of a large variety of hard-copy documents to electronic files for easy storage and organization.

The new ImageCenter™ ADS desktop scanners deliver high-speed duplex scanning in a single pass. They also offer other key features, such as multi-feed detection, blank page removal, deskew support and background removal. In addition to fast scanning speeds (up to 24ppm), they also provide additional advantages against the competition with the ability to scan to a USB memory flash drive and an Android™ phone or tablet.

The ImageCenter™ ADS-2000; which started shipping in May, is targeted for home offices and small to medium businesses, started shipping in May, and is available at various office superstores, retailers, dealers and online resellers.

The ImageCenter™ ADS-2500W is targeted for slightly larger workgroups that require network (Wireless and Ethernet) capabilities and is expected to start shipping in September. It will be available from various resellers .
