This email will help guide and teach you the basics of setting up and using your Element Ti5 Android TV Box.

CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET

1. 
   Click on the SETTINGS tab on the Home Screen.
   
2. 
   Double Click the NETWORK tab at the top of the screen.
   
3. 
   Choose either WIFI or ETHERNET. If an Ethernet cord is attached you will see that the box says “connected”.
   
4. 
   If WIFI is chosen enter your password using the remote.
   
5. 
   Click the GREEN ARROW on the keyboard shown on the screen.
   
6. 
   Wait for the “Connected Successfully” message to be displayed showing that you are connected.
   

SETTING THE DISPLAY SIZE

1. 
   Click the SETTINGS tab on the Home Screen.
   
2. 
   Double Click the DISPLAY option at the top of screen under the DEVICE heading.
   
3. 
   Double Click SCREEN POSITION.
   
4. 
   Click ZOOM OUT SCREEN to make the screen display smaller.
   
5. 
   Click ZOOM IN SCREEN to make the screen display larger.
   

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME (VERY IMPORTANT)

1. 
   Click on the SETTINGS tab on the Home Screen.
   
2. 
   Click DATE AND TIME under the PREFERENCES heading.
   
3. 
   Make sure AUTOMATIC DATE AND TIME is set to ON.
   
4. 
   Click TIME to set the time.
   
5. 
   Click SELECT TIME ZONE to choose your time zone.
   
6. 
   Click DATE to set the date on the box.
   

INSTALLING ADDONS IN KODI

1. 
   From the units homescreen click on the Kodi Icon (Blue K Icon) located on the bottom row of application icons.
   
2. 
   Let Kodi Open
   
3. 
   On the main menu bar you will see Pictures, Video, Music, Programs & Settings
   
4. 
   Scroll over VIDEOS.
   
5. 
   Select ADD-ONS right below the VIDEOS section.
   
6. 
   Select GET MORE
   
7. 
   Choose the Addon that you want to install and click on it.
   
8. 
   Click INSTALL.
   

ADDING KODI SHORTCUTS

1. 
   Open the Kodi application.
   
2. 
   Scroll over to the SYSTEM tab and click on SETTINGS beneath it.
   
3. 
   Click on Appearance.
   
4. 
   Click on SKIN.
   
5. 
   Click on Add-on Shortcuts.
   
6. 
   Under "Home Page Videos Submenu" is Add-on 1-5.
   
7. 
   Click on Add-on 1 and a pop up showing all of your installed addons will pop up.
   
8. 
   Click on the Addon that you want to set as a shortcut on your homescreen.
   
9. 
   Repeat this process for each Addon Shortcut spot 1-5.
   
10. 
    Press the Home Icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
    
11. 
    Scroll over to Video and you will see all of the shortcuts you have set.
