(Elmer, NJ) Music and wine lovers alike can now spend TWO DAYS at the Appel Farm Music & Wine Festival presented by Bank of America, an XPN Welcomes Event, on Saturday, June 3rd from 3-8pm and Sunday, June 4th from 12-5pm. Featuring ten wineries, Flying Fish Brewery and performances by David Uosikkinen’s In The Pocket (with members of The Hooters, The Soul Survivors, Smash Palace, Richard Bush of the A’s, Ben Arnold, and Jeffrey Gaines), Hotsy Totsy, Christopher Davis-Shannon, JUTAUN, Swing That Cat, Joe Crookston, Deirdre Finnegan and Dave Cohen, and more. Rent a Party Tent with an exceptional view of the stage (complete with table and chairs) -- Great for clubs, community groups and more!
This signature fundraising event will support Appel Farm’s mission to provide arts education opportunities for under-served and under-privileged children.
This special two-day event also highlights ten wineries from the Vintage Atlantic Wine Region, including Auburn Road, DiMatteo, Monroeville, Paradocx, Penns Woods, Plagido’s, Southwind Vineyard, Villari, Wagonhouse, and White Horse. Patrons can sample vintages from various regions of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For non-wine drinking music lovers, Flying Fish Brewery will be pouring their famous, craft beers.
Craft Artists will showcase their unique hand-crafted goods which include jewelry, fiber arts, original art, and wood working. A Culinary Grove highlights regional cuisine including specialty desserts, balsamic vinegars, and smoked meats. Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets or can choose to indulge at the gourmet food trucks selling delicious cuisine ranging from BBQ to fresh wraps and seafood.
Parents can sample wines child-free by dropping off their children (3-13 years of age) at the Appel Farm Kids Camp, where the kids will enjoy activities such as arts projects, theatre games, and outdoor sports under the direction of our trained summer camp staff. With over 50 years of camp experience, kids will be in a fun, safe and caring environment that will let their creativity shine!
Those who love to cycle can participate in a South Jersey Cycling Tour sponsored by Subaru of America, at 9:30am on Sunday, June 4th, before Day 2 of the festival. The tour will travel a 22-mile picturesque route that leads to the Wagon House Winery in Swedesboro, NJ and back. The staff of Action Wheels Bike Shop will be on hand to assist with pumping tires and lubing chains. And if guests are not ready to leave on Saturday night, Appel Farm invites them to stay overnight in modern cabins or bring a tent. The Overnight Package includes two 2-Day passes to the Festival, a tent camping space, an evening concert, bonfire and s’mores. A breakfast food truck will be available on Sunday. Great for family and college reunions, girls weekends, or a neighborhood gathering under the stars!
Advance Discounted Tickets Available! One Day ticket $20 (Gate $25), and a Two-Day ticket ($40). Kids 3-13 years are free-of-charge. Optional Kids Camp Ticket $10. Overnight Two-Day Package for two: $50 (includes 2 Two-Day tickets to the festival, camp space, concert, bonfire, and s’mores.) Cabin rentals cost $500 each and include 10 Two-Day tickets.
