It is tempting to resort to the vocabulary of eulogy to describe Bill Stokoe: brilliant,
passionate, courageous however, such words are powerless after all to capture the essence of this complex man. No biographer can tell
a life fully and accurately, but I
hope I have succeeded in telling enough about Bill Stokoe to enable others to knowat least a little betterof the rich, full, and productive life that he has lived.
